The Canadian Curling Club Championship gives grassroots curlers the opportunity to enjoy a national championship experience. In 2026, the National Championship will be played in St Thomas November 22-28th
Ontario has changed how the playdowns to qualify for the Ontario Provincials will work. While the Provincial dates and location have yet to be confirmed, teams will now have a choice between two qualifying windows:
- Spring Qualifying will be held April 10–12 with 4 Regional Qualifiers, and
- Fall Qualifying will be held October 16–17 with 6 Zone Qualifiers (1 team advances from each)
The Ottawa Curling Club is allowed to have two teams per gender register for the event, however in accordance with eligibility rules, teams must choose one qualifying event or the other, but cannot enter both qualifier weekends.
Due to these changes, our club cannot wait for our own Championship process, as the spring qualifiers occur before our season wraps up. Therefore, the Board is considering options, and asks any teams that are eligible and interested in representing the Club to email the Match director at This email address is being protected from spambots.
